Hazel`s Drive-In in Antioch

Not many can finish the Willy Burger in one sitting. "Old school" type fountain drinks and shakes. Good food and menu. I've lived here 30+ years and Hazel's has been around at least that long. New owners are trying to keep up the old tradition.

Great place , good food it's my third time going and the food is really good the burgers or nice size . I had the BLT today and I was full . Nice people the seriis great .

This is clearly one of the best place in the region. Every time I come to this place I am greatly pleased. They hold their high standard service and the highest level of cooking they serve. You surely will enjoy this this place. Highly recommended.

Good service but the food not so much. I asked for garlic fries they gave me fries and sprinkled a lil garlic powder on them. The fries were also kind of hard 🤢 Philly cheese steak sandwich was ok. Best thing I had was the chocolate peanut butter milkshake.

I was super impressed with the great flavor of the Hazel Burger with the perfectly fried fries. I will definitely be back!!

The food is delicious and would really recommend to anyone who happens to be in the area also the waiters and waitresses are very friendly and is overall a great experience.

Whenever you want a decent burger with a creative milk shake. This is the place to go ole school customer service. It's truly a neighborhood spot, if you haven't been in a while and walk in they ask "where ya been " I love those places where they remember you by name. The burgers are very delicious and the fries cannot be beat. They have an assortment of milkshakes that are palet pleasing. A must try if your ever in Antioch.

Ordered over the phone, first time having Hazels burger, great service, very welcoming, very helpful and most of all, amazing tasty burgers. The only down side is, that we waited this long to try this place! Well done guys and wish you luck with your sale. Hope the new upcoming owners have the same successful structure you guys put in place!

Just tried this spot for lunch today and it’s a hidden gem! The burger is juicy and tastes fresh. Definitely going back soon!

Atmosphere is gone... walls are empty, kinda depressing, food made up for it though, would of been a 5

Tried it for the first time and the Banana shake was delicious. Paired it with the Chicken melt an it was good.

If you go here, tell them to some seasoning on your food, food is good.

I like the mom and pop aspect of this place and the nostalgic decor with a local flare. It is very small inside and seems to have loyal following since I got the idea the tables around us were seated with mostly regulars based on the conversations I overheard. I didn't intend to eavesdrop but the tables are really close together which lends a friendly, family feel to the place. There is also a small counter which was full the day I visisted. The food is alright. But I think you visit here more for the atmosphere & nostalgia.

Visited this diner during my route and ordered the Monterey Jack cheese and Mushroom burger and I was astouned. The burger and fries were flavorful. I will return and the the GIANT Big Willy.

If you are wanting a real hamburger. Then this is the place to get one. I believe it's called the Wally burger. This is 8 or 9 inches across. If u havnt been here then go. See what a burger should look like. Yeah....

Really cute ol'school burger joint. Reminds me of the greaser days. Very cute & clean on the inside. You can't tell From the outside. This place is historical in my neck of the woods it's been standing strong since my grand parents era. Suggestion to the owner: if money wasn't a issue neon lights would flag more people down & bring in more business 😊.

This place is somewhat of a gem. The food has been amazing every time I’ve been here. What amazes me about this place is that it is so old, but there are still many people in Antioch who haven’t eaten there. I do feel that there is a whole lot of room for improvement in the customer service area. I highly, highly recommend the Linguica Sandwich.

I have always loved Hazel's, I get their classic giant burger the "Willy Burger" every time i go there. The service is always extremely great, friendly staff and the whole classic diner experience and 50's paraphanilia is great! The food and shakes are awesome everyone I have brought there has loved it too.

If you haven't had Hazel's, I employ you to go. It is an institution of Antioch.Went there last month. We went right after kayaking for a few hours on the delta and were pretty hungry. I've had Hazel's before but never ordered the Willie burger. Me and my husband shared one and it was enough to share with 2 other people. It was really a really good burger, exceeded expectations. I want to note how good the customer service is. Since we were kayaking I didn't bring my wallet with me and totally forgot until after I ordered. So my husband went home to get it (we live like a minute away) They were cool with it and even let me have our drink while I waited. While I was there, I overheard another costumer stating that the cheesesteak sandwich was the best he's had in years only second to that place in Philly that was one of the original cheese steak places so there you have it. I'll say it one more time....If you haven't had Hazel's, get it. It is an institution of Antioch.

Hazel's Drive-In is really good has the greatest food for the money. Milkshakes you have to eat with a spoon. And sodas like the old fashioned cream soda are really great. They are open 7 days a week I'm close on Sunday at 3 p.m. . Hamburgers are two seat and great the french fries are long and fresh the whole meal was excellent. It is an old-fashioned Drive-In Diner

A cozy little piece of Americana in Antioch, stop by and experience the atmosphere, great burgers and ice cream shakes at Hazel's when you're in town. And order the "Willie Burger" just to say you ate one. It's HUGE! P.S. - You'd better grab yourself a Willie Burger real soon. I hear they're selling the restaurant. 😢

That burger was by far the best me and my boyfriend have ever had. They are always so friendly and have the absolute BEST shakes around! We got the giant burger (forgot the name) and had them cut it in half. I couldn't even finish half of it!!

Nice old style hamburger shop set up on a 50's scene. Reasonable prices and great food. Beware of the Willy hamburger! It's the largest hamburger I have ever seen, about 6 or 7 inches across! The people at the counter were friendly and the service was fast. Place is not well located but don't miss the opportunity to try their food.

People if you have not gone here you need to definitely go here and split a Willy burger with whoever you’re with at least just to try it it is an awesome meal. Now on to the rest of the menu I would definitely always recommend the fran fries or pretty much any of their stuff have never had a bad meal here so sad to see it go from the original people that have made it what it is now today. I try to make every Wednesday A Willy Wednesday for me and my kids, I also recommend the tots just so dang yummy!!!!

Amazing burger place. Cheap and very good quality. If you want a burger come here and you won't regret it with their delicious milkshakes and crunchy fries. Very underrated.

This spot obviously knows how to serve their clients. Consistently with a kind attitude. The food is affordably priced, constantly yummy and clean.

I'm ashamed to admit that this was only my first visit even though I've lived in the area for years. The Hazel burger was absolutely delicious. Best burger I've had in a while. Moist and flavorful burger patty. Fries are also cooked to perfection for my taste. Shakes are really good and a large selection of flavors. Staff was super friendly and helpful. You can tell why this place has been a staple in the community for so many years. Will definitely be back.

I got a BLT on sourdough and a pumpkin spice shake. 😋😋😋 Very good!!!!! And the prices can't be beat. $5 for the sandwich and$5 for a have scooped shake

New owners food not as good

Don't know what the gd reviews were based upon from others. My experience was not gd. Ate their couple times...hamburger bun old/fell apart, lettuce old, tomato was the end parts & was chopped not sliced...just not a gd burger at all. Fries were decent. I believe that a chg in ownership may be reason for bad quality, although I can't vouch for that, as I never thought their fd was gd from 1st time I ate their (7) yrs ago...I do not eat there anymore, just convenient at the time.

3.5 Stars hearty bacon Billy Burger. This review is on the Billy Burger. Usually the regular or bacon cheeseburger is a good standard to measure how the rest of the food will be on the menu.Billy Burger: Hearty slices of bacon were the best taste about the burger. The patty, cheese, and bun were the usual taste.Fries/Onion Rings: half and half order had little to no salt or seasoning on them. Very bland.Overall, I wouldn't go so high to say its above average (3-star). The bacon was not bad though.

I have been coming here for over 15 years. Best dang hamburger joint from Reno Nevada to San Franscisco My brother loves the Willy burger it is a 1 lb cheeseburger my favorite is the Hazel burger and the handmade milkshakes. I like grabbing a burger from here every now and then. Those big boy burgers are fun to eat. Off the top of my head I think they're called wully burgers? Oh well, I can finish it and I'm a nerd, what's your excuse? Only the basic version though, forget about those gigantic mega versions of that thing.

My son and I were so happy to find this place, the fod was really good and the people who work there are awesome!!!!!!! We have to try the one pound hamburger.
